Introduction
LineCoreOS was created by colebohte. It is made in Turbowarp. It's an alternative design, different from POSIX and NT. There are three parts of LineCoreOS' history: Pre-Warpix, Warpix (not really LineCoreOS), and Post-Warpix.
Pre-Warpix
This was the original LineCoreOS. Sadly, most versions of LineCoreOS in this period are lost media, due to a disk failure. The only version available is LineCoreOS v0.0.57.
0.0.57
First known version of LineCoreOS. This is what LineCore Portable is based on.

0.1.92
Second and last known version of LineCoreOS. Lost media.

Around 10 days later, colebohte made changes to this version, such as the new INIT system and Line DM (Line Display Manager), which loaded into LDX (Line Display Extension) or a terminal.

grab
grab was the package manager for LineCoreOS added in this version.
You can access an archive of the grab repo here.
The .grab files are actually .sprite3 files.
LDX
LDX was the GUI for LineCoreOS. It was never finished, and removed from the grab repo.
Warpix
After colebohte's drive got corrupted, he decided to start a new project, called Warpix[1]. It's POSIX-based, and has shell scripts in a XML-like format[2]. Warpix was based on PenguinMod, instead of Turbowarp. It also had an (unnamed) package manager[3]. It was scrapped shortly after.
26.0
The only known version of Warpix.[4] Found media.

Post-Warpix
NOTE: Post-Warpix LineCoreOS is still in development, so this section is subject to change!
After scrapping Warpix, colebohte started another project called "LineCoreOS" (not to be confused with LineCoreOS). A modern LineCoreOS, based on LineCoreOS v0.0.57. It is still in active development. There will be a "compatibility layer" with Pre-Warpix.
0.1.0.180
